BANZAI
These fake-Japanese characters were swiped from title sequences on the British TV show Banzai!, a spoof of Japanese programming. Many considered the show to be racist, but it's practically a love letter to Japan when compared to the rabid anti-Japanese sentiment that has become so fashionable these days... though one could argue that cartoon output is as logical and intelligent a reason to loathe an entire culture as any.
