Did you ever notice how some people pronounce the word "February" with only one R? I don't know why people choose to do that, and I wish they wouldn't. I've never heard of a silent R before. I have a neighbor who does that, but he also has a Doberman Pinscher, and that has a silent S.
One thing I don't get is why people won't bother to put their stamps on envelopes in a proper fashion. Does it really take that much time to straighten a stamp before putting it on? They've already made them self-adhesive, but I guess that's still not enough for some people. I hear there's something called "electronic" or "E-mail" that people use now. I think I'll stick to the normal kind, thank you.
I watched an episode of a show called "Monk" the other day. I don't understand what that man's problem is.
Another thing that doesn't make much sense is the way people don't wear watches anymore. I guess everyone got together and decided it would just be easier to put clocks everywhere. It used to be that watches were cheap and not very durable just a few years ago. Instead of getting a new battery, it was just easier to throw it away, go down to the novelty store and buy a new one. I still have a watch that winds, and it does its job.
We all know cats are fond of fish, but I figure all fish must taste the same to them. After all, they're only cats, right? If a cat wants salmon, and you give it tuna, he'll eat it right up. In cartoons, cats also like to chase mice, but I can't imagine they'd find the taste of a mouse to be appealing. If I was a cat and had the choice of either mouse or fish, I wouldn't go for the mouse even if you paid me. And what would I do with money anyways? Cats don't need money.
